In 2009, we launched the Vitality HealthyFood benefit with a vision to make eating healthily more accessible, affordable and rewarding for our members. On 1 September 2024, we launched the biggest upgrade to the HealthyFood benefit to date, making healthier shopping choices more accessible and convenient than ever before.
We are thrilled to welcome Checkers as our new partner, alongside Woolworths. Your clients can now earn Vitality HealthyFood rewards in-store and online with Checkers and Checkers Sixty60; and with Woolworths in store and online, Woolies App and Woolies Dash.
Vitality Health members can get up to 25% back in Ðiscovery Miles on thousands of HealthyFood items in the Checkers and Woolworths HealthyFood catalogues, boosted to up to 75% back with a qualifying Discovery Bank product.
We’ve also increased monthly spend limits to make eating healthily even more affordable for shoppers today: R5,000 for Vitality families and R2,500 for single members.

Payments in Ðiscovery Miles
From September, all Vitality Health members will start receiving their HealthyFood rewards as Ðiscovery Miles. Please be aware that there may be a slight delay on the first payment while we migrate clients to Ðiscovery Miles, but rest assured they’ll have their Ðiscovery Miles in time to spend for Black Friday.
