I transitioned from farmer to insurance advisor in 1992 and I absolutely love what I do. I began my Insurance career with the then Sage Life and went independent soon thereafter. I began Leesure Assurance Brokers in 2003 and I take pride in the personal connections I build with each client.
While I have a Damelin qualification, it’s my “mens wees” – my ability to connect with people – that truly sets me apart. At Leesure, we live by the principle that *there’s never the wrong time to do the right thing*. I am always available, and nothing is ever too much when it comes to supporting my clients. My commitment to their well-being and my dedication to honest and ethical practices ensures that they always receive the best possible service.
I love having the privilege of going back into the farming world, through my many farming clients, and primarily, still being an insurance broker. I love photography and my daily travels (approximately 6000km per month) affords me time with my camera between visiting my clients at their homes/places of business.

With two plus decades of experience in the insurance industry, I hold a Certificate in Financial Planning and have completed all of my Industry exams. Prior experience in the Industry came through Fedsure, Metropolitan Odyssey and the IFAnet.
I have been on the Peninsula Branch Committee of the Industry body of the Financial Intermediaries Association (https://fia.org.za/) since 2016. I held the position of Chair for 2020 – 2023, with special interest in Health.
My extensive background in administration has equipped me with the skills to champion clients’ needs effectively. Our clients are certainly #1 with us. I am dedicated and tenacious, ensuring every detail is managed through to completion. My commitment to ethics and integrity is unwavering, making sure our clients always receive the best service across the board.

I began my career at Sanlam 33 years ago and joined the Leesure Assurance Brokers cc team in 2016.
It was a baptism of fire!! That has stood me in very good stead.
I have completed my RE5 examinations and have an Industry qualification which affords me 120 credits. My background in administration, and exposure to numerous insurance related departments, has equipped me with the skills to always lead with courage and serve with pride.
My goal is to provide an exceptional experience for our clients, whether they walk into the office, call us, or send an email. We strive to deliver unparalleled service in every interaction.
